At age 18 Tracy Anderson moved to New York in the hope of becoming a full time dancer, but at exactly 5 foot tall she was constantly told that while she the moves and the technique she needed to lose weight and get into shape. Having tried a number of different workout regimes and various techniques, she had resigned herself to the fact that she was doomed to a life of genetic bulkiness.

Rather than sit back and be beaten, though Tracy devised her own exercise plans that combated those areas that she believed were causing her the most problems. The exercises also worked on her entire body and Tracy soon found by altering her exercise patterns she was able to continue improving her physique because her muscles were unable to become accustomed to a particular set of exercises.

After further developing the technique for herself, Tracy then tested her new workout method on women of various sizes, shapes, and with different problem areas in order to determine whether it would work on everybody.

Now able to boast celebrities like Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow among her clientèle Tracy has mastered her innovative and successful exercise technique that can be used by anybody regardless of their physical shape or genetic background.

One of the most intriguing things about the human body is that it adapts and learns very quickly. While this has obvious advantages in daily life, it can present certain obstacles to anybody looking to continually tone their body. The muscles become more and more accustomed to performing the same tasks until eventually the growth and toning of that muscle begins to be less pronounced.

By employing a full body workout regime, this becomes less of a problem, but the problem does still exist. One of the most effective techniques to dispel this problem, used in the Tracy Anderson Method, is to continually alternate and change your exercise plan. Doing so ensures that every workout challenges the body to improve and the muscles do not become accustomed to a certain movement.

Tracy Anderson Studios, situated in Los Angeles, employ this method while concentrating on any problem areas that an individual has (and we all have them). By routinely changing exercises and exercise plans, clients are able to enjoy continually challenging workouts and achieve the best looking body possible.

When Tracy moved to NYC to become a dancer at the age of 18, she ended up gaining a lot of weight. But she was told in order to have a career she had to drop those extra pounds. She tried workout after workout, but none of them helped. She gave up on finding the right workout. She took her frustration and created her own exercise regimen, which gave her a perfect dancer body.

Tracy started her own studio based on her unique and body-changing exercise techniques. She designed the Hybrid Body Reformer, a 600-pound machine with a pulley system that lets infinite angles of resistance be used in working the muscles. With over 2,800 dance-imitating moves choreographed by Tracy, this machine will elongate your muscles. This innovative machine can only be found at Tracy Anderson Studio in Los Angeles. Tracy aims to open other studios in the near future.

When trying various workout routines, Tracy notice that most of them overworked major muscle groups, thus building muscle bulk. This is not the goal if you want a dancer’s body. She focuses on the small muscle groups, which are called the accessory muscles. That is what will give a woman a dancer’s body and give a man a trim, ripped body. With over seven years of testing her methods, Tracy has seen dramatic results. She is able to take any person with any type of genetic background and transform their bodies into a long, thin, and lean dream body.

Because everyone’s body is different, Tracy creates a specialized workout for each client. This lets her target a client’s problem areas. Tracy changes the workout routine every ten workouts to make sure the muscle groups are targeted at a variety of angles. This prevents certain muscle groups from being overused.

Tracy’s Dance Aerobics DVD can only be purchased through her website. You can achieve your dream body by using the techniques on her DVD. The video includes 2 hours of thorough instructional and 45 minutes of a fun cardio-dance workout.
